During economically hard times many folks look for businesses they can start realizing they may not be able to find a decent job anytime soon. One cool business to start if you like cars is a mobile car washing service. You can go to people’s homes or to companies and wash the cars right in the parking lot.
Best of all if you already have a pick-up truck, van, or a small trailer you can mount the equipment inside and go to work right away. Of course, there are a few things that you should know about the mobile car wash business.
So, where can should you start; Well, first you need to find a small 100-gallon water tank to use, remember water weighs 8.2 lbs per gallon so you will have 820 extra pounds worth of load once it’s filled up. Next, you’ll need to buy a small pressure washer of at least 1,000 PSI, but realize that 2200 PSI is best. A gasoline powered unit makes sense because you can use it wherever you are even with no electricity.
Additionally, you might wish to think about buying a small portable generator to power up a vacuum cleaner to do interiors. A 2-3 hp electric vacuum cleaner will be your best bet, too much over 5 hp and it will draw too much amperage when you turn on your generator.
